- City's relationship with Ojai Unified School District (OUSD)
- Development of affordable housing in balance with Ojai's unique characteristics
- City's planning and permitting
- City's water management issues, including water rates and restrictions
- Cost effective development of public/private partnerships for various services:
- Public Safety ($3.5 million per year for Ventura County Sheriff's services; should we be examining the possibility of more affordable partnerships?)
- Emergency Preparedness - wildfires, landslides, flooding
- Repurposing public transportation (Ojai Trolley for OUSD student transportation)
- Temporary housing and social services support for unhoused (CA, VC and Ojai social services)
- Parks and Recreation management
- Impact of short term rental properties in residential neighborhoods
- Sensible business and economic development
- City’s fiscal responsibility
